Nick Carter Dedicates Tearful Performance to Late Sister

Surely one of the most heart-wrenching gigs of his career, a grieving Nick Carter took the stage at NYC's Irving Plaza on Thursday (February 2) - just two days after the sudden death of his sister Leslie.

Visibly emotional following the shocking event, the "Backstreet Boys" singer held back tears as he dedicated "Falling Down," a ballad, to his late sister.

“I’ve never done this before, and I never thought I’d ever have to, but I’d like to dedicate this song to my sister," Carter told the crowd of more than 700 fans.

According to police reports, 25-year-old Leslie Carter died in Upstate New York of an apparent accidental prescription drug overdose.
