Paris Hilton Glams Up amfAR Benefit
If you’re in the charity business and you want to really drum up publicity for your cause, who do you call? Paris Hilton, of course!
The heiress was in New York City last night for the amfAR benefit event to support AIDS research. Believe it or not, the Simple Life star was one of the event’s chairmen.
And the fabulous guest list included names such as Thom Filicia, Tim Gunn, Cynthia Nixon and Ted Allen.
Rock & Republic’s Michael Ball and Andrea Bernholtz cochaired the event, held at the Puck Building.
According to The Advocate, “Since 1985, amfAR has invested $260 million in its programs and has awarded grants to more than 2,000 research teams worldwide.”
