Prince William’s Helicopter Heroics Save Two Teen Girls

He’s a knight in shining armor as the future King of England, and Prince William led an effort that saved two teenage girls from drowning yesterday (August 16).

The Duke of Cambridge and his fellow RAF crew were on their way back from a mission when their helicopter received a distress call that two sisters, ages 13 and 16, had been overtaken by a rip tide off the coast of Anglesey.

What’s most impressive is that William and his team were able to respond quite rapidly to the call, showing up on the scene in a mere 38 seconds.

Called one of the Royal Air Force’s “fastest and shortest” operations, both ladies were successfully rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital.
