Sofia Vergara Celebrates "Modern Family" Raise with an Artsy Night Out
Paying appreciation to the arts, Sofia Vergara attended the Joffrey Ballet School's introduction of 'Joffrey West' in Northridge, CA on Friday evening (July 27)
The 40-year-old beauty donned a simple black cocktail dress at the Valley Performing Arts Center and took time to pose with artist Domingo Zapata along with Joffrey South artistic director Alice Alyse.
Earlier in July, the Colombian stunner got engaged to businessman boyfriend Nick Loeb and now a very large diamond now glitters on her ring finger, which she showed off at the swanky soiree.
Miss Vergara was also spotted out in West Hollywood earlier in the afternoon decked out in Hermes wear while carrying a designer handbag to hunt down beauty supplies.
In related Sofia news, the cast of "Modern Family" just resolved a huge contract dispute that threatened the future of the series.
Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and the brunette beauty will all get raises from about $65,000 per episode to a little over $150,000 for the fourth season. A source says that - with bonuses - that amount will be closer to $170,000 per episode, though less than the $200k requested.
In addition, cast members will now receive a percentage of the show's back-end profits, which could make them about $350,000 per episode. In exchange, the actor's had to agree to add a year to their existing seven-season contracts.
With the recent contract disputes, co-creator Steve Levitan talked to The Hollywood Reporter about going back to work on the show, "It'll feel great, I'm sure everybody is going to be very relieved and I hope that it's the beginning of a great season. I feel really good about it. I'm very happy for my friends on the cast for their success, I really am."
The new season of the Emmy-winning comedy starts Sept. 26th.
